Why DEI Trainings Aren’t Enough

· Description: DEI (Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion) trainings strongly enhance people’s knowledge about diversity issues (e.g., unconscious bias), but alone do these trainings influence change? In this "I-O Talk", Rebecca Harmata and Lorena Solis, two Brooklyn College alumni and current I-O psychology doctoral students, will discuss the evidence around DEI trainings as well as highlight evidence-based strategies for effective and sustained change.
